Loadstone is in business to help our clients with IT Support to navigate the ever-changing world of information technology. Patrick started his IT career in IBM in 1999. He has worked for some of the best-known IT services companies in Ireland including Moss, Calyx and Hibernia; in multinationals like Cito; and in government bodies like BIM.
His 20 years’ experience has seen him hold many roles from Helpdesk Manager to Service Delivery Manager and IT Programme Manager.
Patrick took this experience to start Loadstone in 2016, with a vision of providing IT planning, quality IT support with predictable cost, while removing the jargon that is so typical in the IT industry.
Director and CFO
Prior to co-founding Loadstone in 2016, David spent a decade overseas leading a team of analysts for a global risk management provider in Canada and as a HR and Project Manager in the education sector in South Korea. Closer to home, he has worked for Dell and in a variety of IT Consultancy roles, both domestically and internationally, for IBM.
A member of the Travelers’ Century Club, his passions outside of travel include photography, keeping fit, and bluegrass music. He graduated from Dublin City University with a degree in Applied Physics.
Service Delivery Manager
Max’s first job was with Vodafone, after which he moved to Ericsson as part of their IT support team, discovering he enjoyed finding solutions to the problems and challenges of support services.
Stepping back from industry he spent several years as a full-time carer before taking a position at University College Dublin’s IT team, enjoying both the hands-on and personal natures of the job.
In 2017 he joined Loadstone as Service Delivery Manager and enjoys the satisfaction of individual problem solving and the broader challenges of managing IT infrastructure.
Paul began his career in 1994, working for Siemens Ireland for 15 years in a variety of customer-facing service support roles as well as internal IT support and project management; before joining Fujifilm Ireland to plan, develop and support the infrastructure for Fijifilm Imagine.
Working with Fujifilm peaked his interest in online technologies and Paul has spent the last 10 years focussing on web and application development working in the financial and public sectors. He graduated from DIT Kevin Street with a degree in Computer Science (2000) and Application Development (2012).
